“JAMOCHA”- Male-Shorthaired Brown, Tan and White Guinea Pig. Adult. “ I’m new at the shelter. I was found scrounging around in a yard, looking for food and keeping an eye out for any traveling cats and dogs who may want to eat me.  It was a rough life, not to mention really, really scary.  Luckily, a nice lady saw me and brought me to the shelter (after I spent a very long night at her house, watching as her house cats ‘circled the wagons’ around me- I’m sure it was not to protect me!) The more scared I got, the more I squealed, the more I squealed, the more the cats crouched and harassed me through the cage. The more they harassed me, the more I squealed-it was a vicious circle! Who knew that I would be able to relax at the shelter? So, I now have a clean cage, had my picture taken to see if someone may want me, and I already have a vet appointment to be checked over. After that, I’m hoping that the next road trip is off to a new home. Either without cats, or with some guinea pig loving cats (as friends-not food) REALLY CUTE JAMOCHA
