Hot News

  • The shelter will be closed from October 29th thru November 13th, due to moving and getting the temporary shelter up and running. The best way to reach us for questions would be through our email and the shelter facebook site. It may take some time to get back to people. If there are emergency (only) calls, the Napd can be called at the 695-1212 number to have us reached-please make sure that these calls are for emergencies only.
People who have lost their pets should report them asap, through the shelter facebook site and emails- leave all contact info and having pictures is a huge help

Hours for the shelter at the temporary site have not been determined yet, but will be limited throughout the construction period. Hours to claim owned dogs will also be limited, and dogs may be boarded elsewhere, which will add more costs to the reclaim, so please, obey all leash laws, keep license tags and id on your dog at all times, and microchips are a huge help

If anyone donates bottles and cans, bedding, etc could you please hold them until after November 13, so we can set up a spot for them?

Once all the construction is done, there will be an open house for everyone to see their new animal control and shelter. We appreciate everyones support, patience and help through this project!
