CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health is requiring the North Attleboro Health Department to set up and staff Emergency Dispensing Sites.  This plan calls for the capability to dispense and administer vaccines and antibiotics to our population, within 48 hours, in case of a flu pandemic or bioterrorist event.

The North Attleboro Health Department needs volunteers to assist in the following areas:

• Patient Flow - Greeters and registration

• Patient Care - Doctors, nurses, triage and medical evaluation

• Transportation and Traffic Control

• Security

• Child Care

• Float Staff

• Supply Staff

• Communication
