Residents who would like more information on the subject of enabling residents with disabilities, and on various commission initiatives, are welcome to attend the NA MCoD's monthly meetings, usually the second Thursday of every month at 1:00 pm in the Lower Conference Room at the NA Town Hall at 43 South Washington St.

North Attleboro is currently looking for new volunteer members to our Board. There can be up to nine (9) members serving. If interested, please contact us below. We provided an Application Form that can be sent into the Selectman's Office. Thank you for your willingness to serve.

Disability Indicator Program

In the spirit of preparedness in an event of an emergency of any kind, the North Attleboro Emergency Management Agency, spearheaded by the Fire and Police Department, is asking persons with a disability to file an official MA disability indicator form. Information about the program can be found at the Massachusetts Public Safety website. Always remember information on the disability indicator form is confidential. Function of Commission:

• Advise and assist municipal officials in ensuring compliance with federal and state disability laws.
  
• Review policies and activities of municipal departments and boards as they affect persons with disabilities.
  
• Provide information, referral, advocacy and technical assistance to individuals, businesses and organizations in all matters pertaining to disability.
  
• Coordinate the activities of other local groups organized to meet the needs of persons with disabilities.
